2006

Ardnek Publishing is formed after founder and book author, Mechelle Esparza-Harris,
is asked by educators, librarians, and parents to meet with young adults
to discuss her books. Mechelle meets with over 2,000 tweens and
young adults through book club, library, and community service programs
during this period and creates the young adult game, “YA’s First Love.”

2011

Given the success of books, “The Love Note,” “Sage,” and the young
adult game, YA’s First Love, ARDNEK Publishing enters its publishing design and
development phase. The young adult game, YA’s First Love is renamed to Love,
Relationships and You and copyrighted.

2013

Mechelle writes a children’s illustrated book about Raja, a dog
that lives with the owner’s daughter in college. Her family
rallies around the first book and helps with illustrations,
formatting and book expos.

2015

The children’s illustrated book “Raja’s College Life, A True Story,”
becomes ARDNEK’s first published book. At the request of repeat
customers, the founder begins developing supporting products –
bookmarks, stickers, notepads – for children, tweens and young adults.

2019

The founder’s books, “The Love Note – Second Edition,” and “East Grandell Sage,”
are published and released under the ARDNEK Publishing label with the Love,
Relationship and You Game included in the books for tween and young adult use.
